Beginning September 16, 2024, certain fee bearing submission types that require or allow a filing fee exhibit, filed after 5:30 PM ET will display a status of “Unknown” in EDGAR and will be processed the next business day. This may also affect filings that do not include a fee exhibit (e.g., a 424B3, or an S-3/A etc.)
Affected submission types
The following submission types are impacted:
- 24F-2NT, 424I, 24F-2NT/A, F-1, F-3, F-3ASR, F-3D, F-6, F-6EF, F-7, N-2, N-2ASR, N-5, S-1, S-11, S-20, S-3, S-3ASR, S-3D, S-B, SF-1, SF-3, F-1/A, F-3/A, F-6/A, F-7/A, N-2/A, N-2POSASR, N-5/A, POS AM, POSASR, S-1/A, S-11/A, S-20/A, S-3/A, S-B/A, SF-1/A, SF-3/A, F-10, F-10EF, F-4, F-8, F-80, N-14 8C, S-4, S-4EF, F-10/A, F-4/A, F-8/A, F-80/A, N-14 8C/A, S-4/A, PRE14A, PRE14C, PREM14A, PREM14C, SC 13E1, SC 13E3, SC TO-I, SC TO-T, SC13E4F, SC14D1F, PRER14A, PRER14C, SC 13E1/A, SC 13E3/A, SC TO-I/A, SC TO-T/A, SC13E4F/A, SC14D1F/A, 424B1, 424B2, 424B3, 424B4, 424B5, 424B7, 424B8, 424H, 424H/A, S-8, and S-8POS.
Effective April 14, 2025, fee-related filings received after 5:30 p.m. ET but before 10:00 p.m. ET will receive notifications and be accepted that same day if they pass validation checks, but will continue to receive a filing date that corresponds to the next business day. The following submission types — F-1MEF, F-3MEF, F-4MEF, N-14MEF, N-2MEF, S-11MEF, S-1MEF, S-3MEF, S-4MEF, S-BMEF — will not be impacted by this change and will continue to receive a filing date identical to the receipt date.
